    Premise Health has an opening for a Full-time Nurse Practitioner/NP to work at our new employer health center located in Jersey City, NJ!

    Summary: The Nurse Practitioner (NP) uses clinical judgments in conducting health assessments making differential diagnosis, and prescribing pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments. Plans are implemented through independent action, health counseling, and collaboration with other members of the health team. The NP is responsible for clinical oversight and health center consultation regarding administration of health care policy and procedure of the delivery of on-site health services. The NP promotes optimum health, prevents illness and injury, and manages acute and chronic health problems in the on-site setting.

    Requirements:

    • Master's degree (MSN) required
    • At least three years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice or emergency department setting
    • Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations preferred
    • Licensed as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner in state of practice
    • Nationally Certified as a Family or Adult Nurse Practitioner
    • Current Certification in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for medical provider is required, Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
    • Appropriate certification to write prescriptions under the authority of the Medical Leader, if allowed within state of practice
    • Strong computer skills with knowledge of Internet software, Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software. Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records

Being very close to water, this opportunity would be ideal for a provider to spend some summer time.

    Our client would like an APN for vacation coverage the first two weeks of July in their Emergency Department. 

    • Preferably  24/7 coverage - so two 12 hour shifts. Mon-Fri 10a-10p (12hr coverage 7 days/week) weekends: 10a-10p. Patients per day: 20-25. 
    • Patients per day: 20-25. 
    • Type of patients: provide care to a variety of non-urgent and urgent conditions within the scope of practice of the APN. 
    • Common conditions evaluated and treated in this setting include, but are not limited to, common colds, sore throat, ear infections, viral illnesses, pneumonia, dental infections, muscular sprains/strains and simple fractures, etc.. 

    Candidate must have:

    • BLS, ACLS
    • Current valid APN licensure.
    • Board Certification and Prescriptive Authority required. 
    • DEA CDS

    • Support staff:  ED Physician on staff at all times (24/7)
    • MDA will provide travel expenses as well as lodging if needed.
    • We will cover all occurrence based malpractice costs

    Nurse Practitioner OB/GYN Practice Hackensack

    Our ob/gyn practice, which consists of three female physicians, is located in Hackensack, NJ on the grounds of Hackensack University Medical Center. 

    We are seeking an APN with ob/gyn experience.  The position is full time, however, part time may be an option.  The position allows for educational growth as you will be working closely with three highly respected physicians.  Our office sees patients Monday through Friday.   We offer an attractive compensation package and a collaborative practice agreement.
